Turn on Javascript

The following instructions detail how to turn on Javascript for the most common client internet browsers. Select the browser that you are using then follow the instructions for that particular browser.

Windows Platforms

Netscape 7

Select Preferences... from the Edit menu. Click on the Advanced section and then select Scripts and Windows sub-section. Under Enable JavaScript for... click the check box beside Navigator

Netscape 6

Select Preferences... from the Edit menu. Click on the Advanced section and then click the check box beside Enable JavaScript for Navigator. When the check box is selected, JavaScript will work.

Netscape Communicator 4+ (Navigator 4)

Select Preferences... from the Edit menu. Click on the Advanced section and then click the check box beside Enable JavaScript. When the check box is selected, JavaScript will work.

Netscape Navigator 3

Go to the Options menu and open Network Preferences. Click the Languages tab and then click the check box beside Enable JavaScript. When the check box is selected, JavaScript will work.

Netscape Navigator 2

Go to the Options menu and open Security Preferences. Click the General tab and make sure the check box next to "Disable JavaScript" is not selected. (Please note, Netscape 2 supports very basic level of JavaScript, using latest version of Netscape recommended.)

Microsoft Internet Explorer 3/4/5

Go to the View menu and open Options. Click the Security tab and then click the check box beside "Run ActiveX scripts" near the bottom of the tab. When the check box is selected, JavaScript will work.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6

Go to the Tools menu and open Internet Options. Click the Security tab and then click Custom Level. Scroll down until Active Scripting appears. Check Enable, and JavaScript will work.

Opera 5+

Select File, then Preferences. Click Preferences and then check "Enable Javascript".

Macintosh Platforms

Intenet Explorer 5.0

Select "Edit - Preferences - WEB Content - Active Content", and then check Enable Scripting.

Netscape 4.7

Select "Edit - Preferences - Advanced", and then check Enable JavaScript
